Now, we find the inevitable tension, sometimes the inevitable
the conflict between the two Autonomous worlds, each sovereign in
the limits of its sphere. Morality has nothing to tell us that there is
the cause and good works of Beauty. Art has nothing to say
us what is the reason and benefit of human life. At the same time
human life cannot do without the Beauty and without it
intellectual creativity, where the last word belongs to
Art. Art realizes itself in the very center of this human
life, human needs and human ends, where the last word
belongs to the Morality. In other words, if it is true that Art and Morality
form two Autonomous worlds, each of them sovereign within its
sphere, they are not able to mutually ignore each other, for man
present in both worlds at the same time as the intelligent Creator and
as moral deystvoval, the subject acts, in which its fate is decided. And
since the artist is a man before being an artist, the Autonomous world
morale is definitely higher (and larger) than the Autonomous world of art. Otherwise
speaking, Art is an indirect and external way subordinated to Morality.
