The Respondent's response is a complex process of self - determination. If you choose the answer he always relates himself with some context of its existence. Distortion of the concept being the result of incorrectly constructed question or leads to refusal to answer or false information.
In the open question where the scope of the search of the true response is determined by the Respondent alone, the General social totality of this issue has a very different structure than that which was proposed by the researcher in a closed question with the same content. Analysis of responses to open questions shows that this structure is more fragmented, the boundaries of the groups, as a rule, are not strictly defined, furthermore, they are very different in scope and conceptual definition. However, it happens that the answers to the open question prevailing opinion on any one symptom. But most often an open question gives not the majority opinion, and most opinions. Changes in the structure of answers leads to a great interest distribution for the number of signs described in the closed issue. Typically, this percentage is much less.
But is it possible to question the legitimacy of the use of a particular form of question? Of course not. Any variation of the second type of question has a right to exist. But then what data will be true if even the naked eye can see how do they differ? The answer can be only one: all true. You only need to know, as already mentioned, the objective reality which reflects, describes a particular issue, its various forms, and how these issues work in different situations.
Question-answering relationships, adopted and established in sociology, dictate the use of features of a particular form of question, without losing any of the essence of the question as a conceptual-hypothetical knowledge, any of its contents.
Next, we will talk in some detail about each form of question about some features of their use in the challenges and rules of their construction. We will focus on dichotomous, closed, tabular, and open questions.
